The experience begins with “Tea at the Top,” a majestic tea service set against the grandeur of the downtown skyline at WP24 Restaurant, Wolfgang Puck’s fine dining venue on the hotel’s 24th floor. From the savory flavors of smoked salmon sashimi and king crab salad to the sweet tastes of white peach scones and raspberry financiers, the elaborate selection includes a bounty of tea sandwiches, scones, and pastries. To complement the chef’s artistry, Art of Tea, a Los Angeles-based handcrafted importer, offers a full selection of locally created teas, including an organic Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles custom blend that yields an earthy bouquet of uplifting aromas. After the sophisticated tea service, moms can retreat to the tranquility of the spa for the Ritz-Carlton Signature Massage, followed by a manicure and pedicure alongside her daughter or son. For a glamorous finale to the royal experience, guests have the option to add a shampoo, hair style, and make-up application. The day of motherly love will cost you $310.

2 Tres by Jose Andres

Chef Jose Andres has created a special Mother’s Day brunch spread at Tres, his restaurant at the SLS Hotel. The extravagant buffet includes a carving display of Roasted Beef Rib Eye and Rotisserie Chicken, a caviar station, Greek Yogurt Parfaits, a cheese and charcuterie spread and assorted desserts and pastries from The Patisserie, along with coffee, tea and juice. Mother’s Day Brunch Table - $52 per person and is available from 11-4.

Wolfgang Puck is presenting one mother of a Mother’s Day brunch at Spago this year. Get in while you can, because this will be the only brunch of the entire year at Spago! A three-course menu will be offered, featuring dishes such as Ricotta-Lemon Blintzes with Wild Huckleberry Compote; Bincho Grilled Black Cod with Shiro Miso, Shiso Rice and Sesame-Miso Aioli; Wild Blueberry “Hot Cakes” with Warm Vermont Maple Syrup; Wolfgang’s classic Veal “Wiener Schnitzel” which was a childhood favorite of his from Austria; and decadent desserts such as a selection of, “Mom's Favorite” Cookies and Confections including Chocolate Bonbons, Caramels and Macarons.

4 Lucques

Lucques, with its cozy decor of brick, wood beams, and newly renovated garden, offers an inviting setting for a special Mother’s Day Sunday Supper. The three course dinner features Cherries with La Tur Cheese, Arugula, Banyuls, Wildflower Honey and Hazelnuts; Handcut Noodles with Maine Lobster, English Peas and Shoots, Crème Fraîche and Meyer Lemon or Lamb Crepinette with Beluga Lentils, Olives, Green Garlic, Dandelion and Fava Bean Pesto. Dessert is a Mascarpone Semifreddo with Strawberry-Rhubarb Sorbet and Santa Barbara Pistachios. Pricing is $45 per person for the menu only. Downtown Los Angeles’ lauded fine dining destination Patina, invites guests to celebrate Mother’s Day and enjoy the flavors of spring by way of a three-course, prix fixe brunch menu. Available on Sunday, May 11, the menu will feature dishes like Tartine of Dungeness Crab, served with saffron aïoli, watercress salad, and tomato pain perdu; Zucchini Agnolotti with spring peas à la française and goat cheese emulsion; and Wild Striped Bass with fennel barigoule and grape-tomato sauce vièrge. The menu is available for $55 per person, alongside an additional $29 three-course, prix fixe option for children 12 and under, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Guests may also enjoy signature sparkling cocktails, like the Fraise Fizz, a blend of champagne and fresh organic strawberry, cinnamon, and housemade basil syrup, as well as a special Mother’s Day wine menu—expertly curated by Sommelier Silvestre Fernandes—highlighting selections from $40-65.
