This year marks the twentieth year of the partnership between the Armani Group and Al Tayer Group, a period which has seen the brand grow from one boutique in Maktoum Street in 1994, to twenty stores and 80,840 square feet of retail space across the UAE and Kuwait today, with additional points of sale at Harvey Nichol’s – Dubai and Bloomingdale’s – Dubai.
This milestone is made more significant as it also represents twenty years of Al Tayer Group as a retailer of luxury fashion, with Giorgio Armani being the first brand launched by the Group in the region. The move set the company on the path to becoming one of the leading luxury retail organisations in the UAE and, indeed, the GCC.

In celebration of the occasion, a commemorative co-branded logo has been developed to mark the occasion. In addition, a limited edition Emporio Armani watch has been created exclusively for the celebration, designed with the UAE flag on the face, which will be available for sale from May 2014. Further activities will be phased during 2014.
