“Escobar Season” returned at 1 OAK at the Mirage when legendary hip-hop superstar Nas performed an unforgettable show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his classic album “Illmatic” on Saturday night.

The rapper was also celebrating the launch of his new Vegas sneaker store venture 12:AM Run.

Before his big night at 1 OAK, Nas and his entourage enjoyed a private dinner at Stack Restaurant & Bar at the Mirage. After dinner, he headed to the nightclub to walk the red carpet. Clad in a black and gold limited edition 12:AM Run T-shirt, jeans and shades, Nas posed for pictures for photographers and fans.

Inside, Nas and crew enjoyed an exclusive VIP table behind the deejay booth, where he chatted with his team, took in the club scene and bobbed his head to the music. At 12:45 a.m. he grabbed the mic and kicked off his set with his smash hits “Hate Me Now” and “Made You Look.” During his set he also took time to shout out another hip-hop legend who was in the building — Too Short — who joined him on the stage and performed the club banger “Blow The Whistle.”

Nas spotted Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman in the audience as well and asked him to join too. At the crowd’s and Nas’ urging, Stockman performed an impromptu version of “Motown Philly” that had fans singing and dancing along. Nas then concluded his incredible show with “If I Ruled the World,” and “Oochie Wally.”

After his performance, Nas returned to his table, where he was surprised with a decadent black and white tiered cake topped with a replica of his “Illmatic” album cover to celebrate the occasion. He and has his group continued the festivities until 3:45 a.m.
