After performing at Ultra Music Festival and taking a break from Coachella, dance music megastar Alesso dominated the day and night this weekend in Vegas as he played two epic sets beginning at the daylife destination Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay on Saturday. Before heading to Daylight, the Swedish deejay and producer stopped by Citizen’s Kitchen & Bar at the resort.
Then it was off to Daylight, where thousands of adoring fans awaited him under the sun. Clad in a black and white tee, shorts and sneakers, Alesso took over the decks and kicked off his live show with dance music anthems including “These Will be the Years” and “Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat.” All hands were in the air as he continued the musical journey with a string of party favorites including “Starlight,” “Under Control,” “City of Dreams” and Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child.” Alesso concluded his explosive set with his smash hit remix of One Republic’s “I Lose Myself.”
Then on Saturday night, Alesso continued his Vegas takeover as he played his second show of the day at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay.
He kicked off his nighttime engagement at Light sporting white Nikes, black jeans and black and white long sleeve tee. For his set, he played a mix of the latest dance music favorites and his own tracks including his new song “Scars.” Partygoers danced non-stop and kept their hands in the air as he played hit after hit.
After an adrenaline-filled show, Alesso celebrated his tour manager’s birthday and helped present him with a festive tiered cake that was embellished with their homeland’s flags.
