Today’s Watch of the Day is the newest and most revolutionary Monaco released by Tag Heuer, The Monaco V4 Tourbillon, which celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year.

The V4 Tourbillon is powered by a patented, belt driven tourbillon movement consisting of 214 components and equipped with a 40 hour power reserve. The display features on this timepiece include hours, minutes, and small seconds at the 6 o’clock position on the second wheel. The mechanics of this timepiece are extraordinary, and include 4 tiny belts used to power the tourbillon, barrels and micro ball bearings, each serving a specific purpose and helping the engine run.

This patented timepiece combines belts and tourbillon technology along with contemporary style and stunning design to create the Monaco V4 Tourbillon. Designed with a grade 5 Titanium case with black carbide coating, the case of The V4 Tourbillon is 41mm x 41mm and beveled sapphire crystal and case back, it is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The dial is amazing to watch, with the V4 belt-driven Tourbillon at 9 o’clock and the black-coated steel bridges, each coated and hand finished with the utmost detail and design. With its black faceted hands, luminescent markers and the white TAG logo at 5 o’clock and “V4” engraving, the V4 Tourbillon dial comes to life.
