If you live in Miami, you are a foodie and you are missing South Beach Wine & Food Festival already, guess what…. This weekend (March 8th and 9th,) can be your moment to delve back into fine chocolate, food, beverages and entertainment at The Miami Fine Beverage, Chocolate & Food Show. Happening amongst the towering banyan trees, natural streams and panoramic views of Pinecrest Gardens (11000 S Red Rd Miami, Florida, 33156), you should expect seminars and book signings with Norman Van Aiken; an organic chocolate demo with Allen Susser; a ‘Smoke Affair’ dedicated cigar lounge; and a variety of craft beers and local brews will be available to sample. Also stay tuned for a highlight of the cooking demonstration and seminar series, James Beard award-winning Chef Allen Susser, a South Florida “Mango Gang” original, will present a rare single-source chocolate tasting from Nick Troubetzkoy’s Emerald Estate in St. Lucia. ‘Chef Allen Susser: A Bean-to-Bar Chocolatier’ takes place on Saturday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. in the Big Beer, Wine & Spirits tents, treating visitors to the hand-crafted and generational expertise of the Emerald Estate’s organically grown cocoa beans, fermented and sun dried on-premise.
