There are so many amazing pools in Miami that the battle for the top slots is a tough one. Each property brings something a little different to the table, but we managed to narrow it down to the hautest and the hottest. Here are our 5 top!
1 The Setai
The Setai wins our number one spot for the tranquility and design of the three pools offered up at different temperatures so goldilocks guests can find just the right one. A newly renovated bar and restaurant serves up quality cocktails and innovative bites, but this isn't the place to go for a scene. Nooo.. the Setai is too posh for that, and it's just how we like it.

2 The Delano
The Philippe Starck-designed oasis is Miami Beach's most famous pool. One of the original infinity pools surrounded by hotel bungalows covered with ivy and the designer's whimsical touches (like music under the water) make this space truly unique. An update on the restaurant by Sam Robin keeps it fresh at this top-ranked pool.

3 The Biltmore
At The Biltmore history collides with luxury with a titanic-sized pool in an oasis in Coral Gables. Nestled up against the 1930s Mediterranean-style hotel, the pool is a vast expanse of crystal blue water surrounded by neoclassical statuary. Just like Al Capone would have liked.

4 The Four Seasons Hotel Miami
The Four Seasons wins our vote for best downtown pool. The Viceroy was close, but The Four Seasons wins for having more greenery and less big buildings looming in view of the 2-acre pool deck. In fact, it's tough to tell you're in the concrete jungle at this pool, which boasts a unique pool dotted with palm trees and, refreshingly, shade. And if pool parties are your thing, this is the spot on Saturdays in the summer.

5 The Standard
Poolside at The Standard is one of the most relaxing places to be in Miami. There's always plenty of cool people around, but it is decidedly a chill scene. Great, healthy food and fresh juices flow from the restaurant and you never know who will pull up in their yacht on a Sunday and turn the day into a floating one. Also, an ice bath, mud-lounge and wide bay vies make this experience totally unique. The best part is you don't have to stay at the hotel to enjoy, it's easy to buy a day pass that includes spa access.
