More than 400 guests in corporate and philanthropic sectors came together to support YMCA of San Francisco for the third annual ‘Y for Youth’ Luncheon.

This year’s theme, Fire Up the StartUps, was marked by a live debate from YMCA of San Francisco’s Youth and Government Program students on the pros and cons of San Francisco’s Proposed Soda Tax Legislation. Notable Guests of the powerhouse event included YMCA of San Francisco President Chuck Collins, Y For Youth Co-Chair Julie Harkins, Doris and John Fisher of The Gap and executives from the San Francisco Warriors.

Proceeds from the Y For Youth Luncheon: Fire Up the StartUps will support the YMCA’s ongoing youth programming in San Mateo, San Francisco and Marin counties, which serves 10,000 youth every day.
