Spring has officially sprung, and guests are invited to celebrate the long-awaited season with exciting happenings at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. The hotel is hosting a number of special activities in April, including:
Easter Brunch at Sixteen On Sunday, April 20th from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the culinary team at Sixteen – the property’s Michelin Two-Star, Forbes Five-Star, fine dining restaurant – will serve a sophisticated and spirited Easter brunch celebration. While gourmands enjoy the afternoon’s lavish spread with a complimentary glass of champagne, Sixteen’s younger diners will revel in lively entertainment, featuring a festive Easter egg hunt and a petting zoo featuring adorable ducks, chicks, and other cute farm animals.
The buffet’s expansive carving station will include Colorado Spring Lamb Provencal with mint pepper jelly and lamb jus and Herb and Garlic Roasted Prime Rib with jus, Dijon and horseradish cream. Specialty entrees include Veal Medallions with glazed fava beans and ramp-stuffed morel mushrooms and Crispy Rushing River Trout with fiddlehead fern, new potatoes and watercress velouté.
A Chilled Seafood Buffet will be stocked with colossal shrimp, snow crab claws, Alaskan king crab and oysters on the half shell. The buffet spread also includes made-to-order sushi, omelets, and risotto stations. Additionally, guests will enjoy assorted charcuterie, cheese, artisanal breads, dim sum items, and breakfast classics like fluffy pancakes and Alaskan King Crab Benedict.
A visit to Executive Pastry Chef Aya Fukai’s dessert station will complete the meal, featuring chocolate eggs, delicious dessert takeaways and an exclusive Spring goody bag.
Sixteen’s Easter brunch costs $148 for adults and $35 for children under 8 years of age, exclusive of alcohol, tax, and gratuity. Sixteen will also be open for Easter dinner from 5:30 to 10 p.m., and guests can choose to mark the holiday with Chef Lents’ newest tasting menu experience, The DAY and NIGHT Sky.
