Giorgio Armani hosted a fashionable fete last week in honor of Oscar-nominated directors Martin Scorsese and Paolo Sorrentino at the brand’s Beverly Hills flagship boutique.

Roberta Armani was on hand to welcome guests to the private cocktail party, which not only celebrated the 86th Annual Academy Awards, but also paid homage to Italian heritage in Hollywood.

Armani opted to honor Best Director nominee Scorsese because the two have been friends for over 20 years. They first collaborated together when Scorsese directed the documentary Made in Milan in 1990, and most recently worked together on The Wolf of Wall Street, as Armani designed many of the looks worn by star Leonardo DiCaprio. Oscar winner Sorrentino — who picked up a trophy on Sunday night for his La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty) has also been a longtime friend of Mr. Armani.

Celebrity guests at the fete, who stepped out to honor the brand as well as the two directors, included Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, Glenn Close, Naomie Harris, Dianna Agron, Olivia Munn, Anna Kendrick, Emmy Rossum, Daniela Sorrentino, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Anne Sweeney, Isabel Lucas, Patricia Clarkson, Aubrey Plaza, Berenice Marlohe, Rachel Zoe, Sam Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Robert DeNiro, Ben Barnes, Alex Pettyfer, Miles Teller, Joshua Jackson, Calvin Harris, Jim Gianopulos, Danny Huston and Teddy Sears.
