Get ready for some serious star power on Broadway this fall! Brooklyn-based actress Maggie Gyllenhaal recently revealed that she will star alongside Ewan McGregor in a revival of Tom Stoppard‘s play about marital drama, The Real Thing.

The play was previously revived on Broadway in 2000 and won Tony awards for its leading actors, Stephen Dillane (John Adams) and Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty). The leads in the original 1984 production, Jeremy Irons and Glenn Close, also won Tony awards for their emotionally-charged performances.

Though both Gyllenhaal and McGregor have starred in off-Broadway plays before, this is the first time that either will headline an actual Broadway show. The show will open at the American Airlines Theatre on Oct. 30, following preview performances beginning on Oct. 2. The show will run until Jan. 4, 2015.
