Vegas Inc celebrated the city’s most inspirational ladies at the 2014 Women to Watch awards inside Hyde Bellagio on Tuesday. The winners were recognized during a special presentation and were featured in the Women to Watch special publication inside the Feb. 3 issue of Vegas Inc.
Presented by Cancer Treatment Centers of America, the awards party at Hyde Bellagio honored the 2014 Women to Watch recipients including Donna Alderson, senior vice president at CBRE Inc.; Cynthia Alexander, partner at the law firm of Snell & Wilmer; Krista Whitley Castellarin, chief executive officer at EGO: Entertainment and Growth Opportunities; Terrie D’Antonio, president and CEO at HELP of Southern Nevada; Joanna DiNatale, director of marketing and public relations at Clear Channel Communications Inc.; Amy Febbo, manager of Springs Preserve at Las Vegas Valley Water District; Sarah Johnson, director of food and beverage at Mandalay Bay; Heidi Kasama, president at Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS; Tina Kunzer-Murphy, athletics director at University of Nevada, Las Vegas; Eileen Moore, regional president and general manager at Caesars Entertainment; Dr. Elissa Palmer, professor, chair and director of reproductive services at University of Nevada School of Medicine; Valerie Parker, owner of BGreen Branding; Jessica Peralta, owner of FIT4MOM Las Vegas; Cheryl Smith, medical and wellness tourism manager at Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority; Jennifer Wyatt, vice president at Clark County Firefighters Union Local 1908; and Dr. Kate Zhong, director of clinical research and development at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
During the event, local online shoe retailer A Life in Heels collected 150 pairs of gently used shoes from attendees to donate to Sole Angels, an organization that provides shoes to women, children and local charities in need. In addition to giving back, patrons sipped on complimentary cocktails while 2012 Women to Watch honoree and Vice President of Brand Development and Entertainment at ATM Artists Zee Zandi hosted the special presentation. Greenspun Media Group Publisher Travis Keys and Greenspun Media Group Editor of Special Publications Rob Langrell also said a few words to congratulate the winners. The event’s gifting sponsors include local businesses A Life in Heels, Paint and Party and Winky Designs.
