Haute Event: Pia Zadora Does One Night in ‘Million Dollar Quartet

Strip headliner Pia Zadora joined the cast of the smash-hit musical “Million Dollar Quartet” onstage for a special encore performance at Harrah’s Las Vegas on Tuesday night, singing a rendition of Brenda Lee’s “Sweet Nothings.”

Following the finale of “Million Dollar Quartet,” Zadora was welcomed to the stage with applause from the crowded showroom. Audiences cheered and sang along to the rockabilly tune, giving Zadora and the cast a standing ovation at the conclusion of the performance.

A celebrated singer and actress, Zadora began her career on Broadway and has since received accolades including Golden Globe winner and Grammy Award nominee. Zadora is the fifth performer to join the cast of “Million Dollar Quartet” onstage to celebrate the music of the production’s era through live jam sessions. Previous entertainers that have graced the stage with the cast include Bally’s Las Vegas headliner and one-woman vocal phenomenon, Véronic DiCaire, “American Idol” winner and Paris Las Vegas headliner Taylor Hicks, Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno and E! reality star Holly Madison.
