The residents of Malibu received a pretty sweet Valentine’s Day gift on Friday when Alexis Bittar‘s Lumber Yard boutique officially opened.

The new 600-square-foot space is designed in a 1940s Art Deco/industrial vibe with the luxe jeweler’s typical array of custom-made taxidermy (yes, you heard that right).

The boutique will carry both Bittar’s custom and fine jewelry as well as antiques handpicked by the man himself.

Of his latest shop, the designer says “[Malibu] is the most iconic beach location in the US…[and] has that quintessential laid-back vibe, yet it’s already incredibly elegant.”

The ‘Bu boutique is Bittar’s 11th in the States and third in Los Angeles; he also has locations in Venice and West Hollywood.
