Mark Wahlberg‘s charity, the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, raised $10,000 through signatures alone at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend.

AQUAhydrate, a company of which the Oscar nominee is an investor, held a “Sign for Sundance” campaign, wherein the brand donated $100 per signature to the Foundation with the ultimate goal of reaching $10,000.

This was achieved through the signatures of participating stars such as Aaron Paul, Zoe Saldana, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chloe Grace Moretz, Zach Braff, Elle Fanning, Michael C Hall, Lance Bass, Nicholas Holt, Sam Rockwell and Christina Hendricks, among others.

The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation was established for the purpose of raising and distributing funds to youth service and enrichment programs. Established in May 2001 by Mark Wahlberg and his brother James, lifelong members and advocates of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Mark came from a family of nine children and spent most of his afternoons and evenings at his local club. Mark credits a large part of his success to the fact that he was fortunate enough to spend his free time in the positive and nurturing environment of the Boys and Girls club.
