To celebrate their four-year relationship with the Recording Academy, Gucci has, quite appropriately, created a limited-edition Grammium watch in honor of the upcoming Grammy Awards.

The watch is special, not only because it celebrates the partnership between fashion and music, but because it’s made of the same material used to forge the Grammy statuettes.

The Gucci GRAMMY Special Edition Interlocking watch’s sun-brushed dial is made of Grammium and comes with a black polished and brushed PVD case and a snapped case back with GRAMMY Awards logo; it is available in two sizes (42 mm and 37 mm).

The collaboration will be feted in a haute way, of course, at a pre-Grammy brunch with musical entertainment provided by six-time nominee Janelle Monae.

The 56th GRAMMY Awards will take place live on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). For GRAMMY coverage, updates and breaking news, visit The Recording Academy’s social networks on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.
