Babalu Palm Beach, a One Stop Shop for Luxury Gifts Opens on Worth Avenue

Although I am based in Miami Beach, I LOVE Palm Beach. I often go up to the Thomas Maier boutique, located off of the world famous Worth Avenue. I have just discovered another legitimate reason to drive one hour North: Babalu Boutique, the one stop lux shopping destination, has just opened in the heart of the city….oh, and did I mention they are open late night? (for Palm Beach standards).

The perfect place for last-minute gifts, the one-stop shop offers price points from $2 to $8,000 on hand chosen specialty items from the most innovative designers and purveyors around the globe. “With a focus on travel, luxury and convenience, the new Palm Beach location is the next jewel in the crown and brand extension of the Babalu story,” said Greg Melvin, CEO of Balabu. “We are thrilled to expand to Palm Beach in anticipation of the season and look forward to delighting anyone looking for the perfect gift or the perfect way to shop in the new year and for years to come.”

The distinctive store was designed in collaboration with John Rawlins, former creative director for retail at Bergdorf Goodman, with striking cabana stripes, signature Babalu ceiling signage, sharp lines and linear in style. Rawlins also designed the original Babalu flagship location at 1111 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.
