Miami has so many great hotel lobbies, it’s a chore to pick just five. But here goes – the best of the bunch are as follows:
St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort
It may not be the biggest, or the most social, but the St. Regis is the most beautiful lobby in Miami. Stunning glass, mirrors and crystal really give guests a feel of what it means to be "haute."
Soho Beach House
The cozy lobby at Soho House is the scene of many great things, and a very hip place to hang out, sip a cup of tea and try to work. Odds are you'll bump into so many friends (and want to spy on whose you wish were) that you won't get much done.
The Biltmore Hotel
The grande dam of Miami hotels, The Biltmore boasts a lobby as they used to be - grand and full of interesting things to look at and private nooks to hide in plain sight.
W South Beach Hotel and Residences
Beautiful design, a signature sent and oodles of contemporary art make the W's lobby a truly unique place in Miami day or night.
Over-the-top design by Marcel Wanders makes The Mondrian especially interesting. Come for the Semi-automatic vending machine and stay for "The Restaurant."
