There are two bow-topped Mini Coopers galavanting around Tinseltown this holiday season, and it is a gift to guests of the Peninsula Beverly Hills.

The Coopers are the latest bespoke additions to the fleet of luxury in-house cars at the hotel, but they weren’t just purchased for the purpose of ferrying patrons to and from the best boutiques on Rodeo Drive.

In the spirit of the season, the Minis will be used as modern-day sleighs for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to carry donated gifts to patients.

The Peninsula Hotels recently collaborated with MINI Cooper to create customized vehicles for all eight of its hotels worldwide.

The custom cars feature the Peninsula’s logo as well as leather seats and interior touches with the hotel’s signature green color. Each car is specially fitted with a tailor-made rooftop box for packages, a mini-fridge stocked with water and cold towels, and an iPad or iPhone to add to guests’ convenience.
