Haute Event: Luke James Performs at The Bank

Luke James (5)b

Fresh off the stage of The Mrs. Carter Show concert at MGM, R&B star Luke James hit the red carpet and gave a live performance at The Bank Nightclub located in the Bellagio.

The crooner posed for pictures and answered questions on the red carpet before being escorted to his table inside, where hot tea with honey and lemon awaited him to soothe his throat from his concert performance.

At his table, James was joined by a group of friends including high school friend and fellow recording artist, Frank Ocean at 12:55 a.m. The “Thinking Bout You” singer, who arrived alone, said that he stopped by to support his friend and hear him perform.

At 1:40 a.m. James grabbed the microphone to give Ocean and Beyonce (not in attendance) a special shout out before giving partygoers a soulful, energetic performance from his table.  James sang his sexy single “Be Bad” and covered the legendary Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” and Marvin Gay’s “Got to Give it Up” while the crowd of adoring fans sang along.

At about 2:10 a.m. James, Ocean and friends were escorted out the nightclub to valet. James was en route to Phoenix for his next performance, while Ocean was headed to his hotel room.
