This Sunday, December 8, 2013, radio host, restaurateur and philanthropist Frank Ski along with his wife Tanya and music mogul Kevin Liles and wife Erika present the 10th Annual Wine Tasting and Live Auction to benefit the Frank Ski Kids Foundation. Considering this year marks a big anniversary we can only imagine who will make an appearance at this much-anticipated event ’Past years, this particular event has brought out familiar faces including Stevie Wonder, Sean “Diddy’ Combs and Mayor Kasim Reed to name a few.
Hosting this year’s event is Chris “Ludacris” Bridges along with Upfront Records founder Devyne Stephens. The host committee also boasts a slew of bold-faced names including Ryan and Marsha Glover, Michael and Lovette Russell, and Steve and Terry Ewing- to name a few.
The wine tasting will feature rare and vintage varieties from the vineyards of Silver Oak, Opus One and The Hess Collection. The live auction will boast ultra-premium items. While we don’t know exactly what is on the roster we do know that previous years have included sports memorabilia, dinner and wine tours in Napa Valley, an Arabian horse and even a harmonica signed by Stevie Wonder.
The Frank Ski Kids Foundation embraces youth and their value by showing examples and providing hands-on opportunities to promote optimal growth, self-expression, ingenuity, achievement and learning vital to their ambitions. The Foundation is also responsible for hosting the “Youth Bowl” football game and awarding scholarship money to university bound students.
