Food-loving Angelenos who travel to Santa Barbara for its 28th annual international film festival are in for a treat, as its unique take on restaurant week will coincide with the fest.
From January 30th to February 9th, its Film Feast will offer special tasting menus and hotel packages with the theme of “Made in Santa Barbara.”
On offer are experiences like “The Graduate Wine Flight” at Au Bon Climat Wine Tasting Room and The Jim Clendenen Wine Library, while the Savoy Café and Deli will honor stars with local ties such as Katy Perry and Jack Johnson with a special menu.
Participating resorts include the Bacara Resort & Spa, which is rolling out the white glove treatment for festival guests with a stay in the 3,700 square foot Presidential Suite “The Residence” and a private screening of The Butler with reception for up to 200 friends in the resort’s own screening room.
Guests can expect to see stars such as Cate Blanchett, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Redford, Forest Whitaker and Emma Thompson, all of whom are being honored, and films like Richard Linklater‘s Before Midnight and Woody Allen‘s Blue Jasmine.
