Dia Art Foundation’s Gala & After Party Raises $700,000

Last month Dia Art Foundation held Dia Fall Night, an annual gala and after party to benefit its exhibitions, programs, long-term sites, and public and educational programs. The event raised more than $700,000. The evening kicked off with a DJ performance by DJ Baby Dee of Gramsci Monument. Following dinner, electronic music duo Matmos performed a new piece especially commissioned for Dia Fall Night.

Notable attendees included Dia Chairman, Nathalie de Gunzburg; Dia director, Philippe Vergne; Dia Trustees, Christopher Bass, Frances Bowes, Sandra Brant, Virginia Lebermann, Howard Rachofsky, Marissa Sackler, Jimmy Traboulsi, and Charles Wright. Various collectors and philanthropists from the art world also came out including George Ahl, Roland Augustine, Michael Avedon, Douglas Baxter, Violaine & John Bernbach, Marianne Boesky & Liam Culman, James Keith Brown & Eric Diefenbach, Molly Duffy Burns, Nan Bush, Ginevra Caltagirone, Judi Caron, Barbara Bertozzi Castelli, Lori and Alexandre Chemla, Sylvia Chidaratanond,Francesco & Alba Clemente, Peter Coffin, Pippa Cohen, Paula Cooper, Beatrice Del Favero, Claire Distenfeld, Frances R.
