Most people post photos on Instagram, but not Brian Grazer…this producer buys artwork.
The Imagine Entertainment founder confessed to actually buying a Takashi Murakami that he fell in love with over social media.
“I just bought a Murakami on Instagram,” Grazer told the Hollywood Reporter after seeing an anime-inspired painting on the artist’s photo feed.
Under Murakami’s comments he posted “Can I buy this please?”
The artist’s response was a heart and smiley-face symbol.
