Unfortunately for all the “outsiders,” we have reached the end of patio season. Unless you are fond of hypothermia and no feeling in your extremities, you may not get a chance to hang out on a patio for a long time once the final patios close up. Before you resign to being forced to enjoy all your drinks and meals outside head on over to ZED451 (739 North Clark) for their Rooftop Wrap Party. The amazing rooftop lounge at ZED451 will be closing the same day as the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival and Tree-Lighting Parade on Saturday, November 23. This will be the fourth year that the River North restaurant will be holding the wrap party, which will follow the events on Michigan Avenue.
It’s at the end of November so remember to bundle up, it may be a patio party but lets not forget Midwest weather. And while Jack Frost is nipping at your nose you can enjoy a complimentary “Jolly” hot chocolate at ZED451 from 7-10PM. There will be holiday movies and plenty of festive music to get partygoers in the spirit of the season. The small plates “Cravings” menu will be available on the rooftop (Pad Thai Tacos; Spiced Chicken Samosas; ZED Burger; Caprese Flatbread; House Smoked Baby Back Ribs; and more). ZED451’s ski lodge-like indoor lounge will be open until 2 a.m. and the unlimited sampling menu is offered in the main dining room on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. This is your last chance to enjoy the rooftop lounge this year, so make sure you get there to enjoy the festive fun.
