Since 1926, luxury retailer Neiman Marcus has provided its high-end clientele with a holiday catalogue of distinctive and extravagant gift ideas with the price tags to match. With gift options ranging from $100,000 to well over a million dollars, there are options for even the pickiest recipients.
One of the most expensive items on the shopping list is the posh $1.85 million “Diamond Experience,” which includes a 25-carat uncut diamond, a trip to diamond specialist De Beers’ office in London to design the stone, followed by a trip to Africa to see where the stone was harvested. Another popular item already disappearing from the warehouse is the limited edition “Dom Perignon’s Balloon Venus” by sculptor Jeff Koons for $20,000. Also expected to sell out quickly is an Aston Martin Vanquish Volante for $344,500, advertised to be one of only 10 in the world.
Other luxury holiday gifts in the book include a $1.5 million over the top outdoor entertainment system and a complete falconry set for $150,000.
