Mark your calendars for Thursday, January 30th, 2014 for the seventh annual Palm Beach Wine Auction that will be held at the historic Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach. This event, which was formerly invitation-only, is considered the most exclusive wine auction in the nation, and is a benefit for the education programs at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Created as the ultimate wine experience for those who are passionate about very special vintages, the event appeals to both the wine connoisseur and anyone who enjoys world-class cuisine. Guests will enjoy a menu completely planned around a list of rare and highly rated wines and all prepared by an all-star line-up of celebrity chefs including Lindsay Autry, Andrew Carmellini, and Hedy Goldsmith.
“Each year we raise the bar on the Palm Beach Wine Auction, and this year is no exception,” said Ted Mandes, event founder and chair, and a board member at the Kravis Center. “The seventh annual event will feature a live auction and a five-course dinner, paired with renowned and specially selected wines from all over the world. We have celebrity chefs preparing each course — the level and depth of the talent line-up is much more diverse and a point of great excitement this year. But the real stars are Palm Beach County underserved children. This exclusive event provides us the opportunity to involve a worldwide audience who value performing arts and creates awareness of the education programs at the Kravis Center, which are so vital to our youth today.”
Tickets for the Palm Beach Wine Auction start at $1,000 per person. Tickets for the Trevini White Truffle Dinner are $300 per person. For sponsorship and ticket sales, please visit www.PalmBeachWineAuction.org or reach the Kravis Center events team at (561) 651-4307.
