Where were you born ?
How long in New york:
Upper East Side
Mother, Wife, Designer, Author, Entrepreneur, TV Personality and Motivational Speaker
Who do you think is the most notable person in New york?
I had to look up “notable” and it means "famous or important." I would say Mayor Michael Bloomberg... I am afraid of what NYC will look like without him. I have never felt safer in NYC.
Best Ethnic Food:
Phillipe’s. Best chicken satay in the city!
Pinkberry’s chocolate hazelnut frozen yogurt
Best place for a romantic date:
My bedroom in the Hamptons. We have a Frontgate heated massage table and take turns. Usually one of us doesn’t finish (hint hint).
Best Sunday brunch:
Landmark at the Time Warner Center. I die for their four-tiered French toast!
The Soho House
Best place for a power business meeting:
Fred’s at Barney’s
If you have out of town guests, which hotel would you recommend?
The Mark because of its classic New Yorker feel or The Pierre for its luxurious decor. But I love Soho Grand too.
Favorite shopping venue/boutique:
It’s a tie between SAKS and Bergdorf’s... and all the shops on West 14th street in the Meat Packing District.
Best place to buy Jewelry/Watches:
Chopard, Graff, Degrisogono
Peter Lugar in Williamsburg
Bergdorf's salad, Nello’s green pasta, Fred’s chicken soup
What are the best luxury shopping venues in your city?
Hermes, Chanel, Dior and Zarin Fabrics in the D&D Building
Describe your city in three words:
Where else can you buy a Pinkberry cone, shop in Burberry and walk your dog in Central Park within an hour?
