Mawa McQueen has made a name for herself as the owner of M&M Catering and the host of popular Wine in Heels seminars. Now, she’s opening up her doors on a weekly basis with the launch of a cooking school. Eight rotating local chefs will teach two-hour classes on everything from ethnic fare and vegetarian food to children’s workshops and wine seminars. All of it takes places in the newly remodeled school and tasting room at the Airport Business Center. The classes take place each week Thursday through Sunday, culminating in a fun Sunday Brunch workshop and an afternoon of kitchen tips and tricks.
