LAX is turning into a one-stop cultural destination for Angelenos.

In addition to the new luxury wing that recently made its debut, the Los Angeles International Airport has has something for its art-loving jet setters.

This weekend marks the maiden voyage of LAX’s Art Walk. On Saturday and Sunday from 5 to 7 PM, pieces from local LA artists will go on display.

Featured artists include Jorge Oswaldo, Joyce Dallal and a piece of performance art choreographed by Sarah Elgart.

Unfortunately for non-flyers who wish to catch the exhibition, some pieces are available in ticketed areas only.
