What:  Sweet & Savory Indulgences: The After Party by the James Beard Foundation Taste America

Where: The St. Regis Hotel

When: Friday, October 4th at 10:00pm following the James Beard Taste America Legacy dinner.

Purchase:  Access to the dessert reception after party is included with all gala tickets or may be purchased separately for $65.00 each. Both ticket types are on sale now and may be purchased online.

The James Beard Foundation’s Taste America is coming to San Francisco October 4 and 5.

The five-weekend traveling national food festival will visit nine other cities from September 20 through October 19, 2013, including Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Washington D.C.  The San Francisco stop runs October 4-5.

October 4 will be a very special evening to kick off the 2-day event.  Following the sold-out Legacy Dinner is an after-party not to be missed. The James Beard Foundation’s Taste America® has announced a special addition to their legacy dinner: Sweet & Savory Indulgences: The After Party taking place at 10pm at the St. Regis Hotel.

Guests are invited to enjoy James Beard-inspired desserts from a selection of noteworthy pastry chefs at the after party reception. This sweet addition will also feature a lineup of cocktail masters who will be shaking up creative libations to add to the party. Attendees will enjoy music from a special guest DJ and be able to dance the night away and mingle with the chefs!

Featured participates include Nicole Plue (San Francisco Cooking School), Lisa Lu (Boulevard), Adrian Hoffman (Lark Creek Restaurant Group), William Werner(Craftsman & Wolves) and Paul Piscopo (St. Regis). In addition, some of San Francisco best mixologists, including Thad Vogler (Bar Agricole), Erik Adkins (The Slanted Door Group), Carlo Splendorini (Mina Group) and Jonathan Santer (Bourbon & Branch) will be stirring up some delicious libations.
