In case you haven’t heard, our favorite high-end fashion brands are launching beauty collections to compliment those stunning threads. Our latest obsession is Dolce and Gabbana’s makeup collection.
The D&G beauty line boasts a wide range of products with gorgeous, smooth and silky textures. In true D&G fashion, colors range from the wildly vivd to the coy and subtle, all of which compliment any skin type and tone. Lips, eyes, nails: D&G has it all covered. Dolce and Gabbana shared some highlights of the lovely collection with Haute Living.
One of our faves is the Eye Quad. The four colors of the satiny eyeshadow collection are presented in complimenting shades ranging from subtle to vivid. We are partial to the deeper palettes for fall.
Amore is a quad of deep berry shades that work together beautifully. The shimmery berry and peach shades marry perfectly with the flat pale and deep purple shades.
Another fall favorite is the Smokey Eye Color Quad. This quad achieves a deep earthy smokey-eyed look. The subtly luminous brown and khaki tones are complimented by the charcoal and pale tones, of which the charcoal can be used as a liner or base.
Nothing brightens up the face like a pop of lipstick. Fall 2013 colors are deep berries and reds that are nicely pigmented for high payoff. Hydration is key for D&G lips.
Lastly, we have the nail colors. Yes, D&G is on the nail polish track with a palette of sophisticated shades that focus on high-pearl and color intensity. The results are long-lasting, beaming hues with patent shine.
Acqua is a muted blue-grey that perfectly compliments a bold lip or eye. Think subtle sophistication for a high impact.
