With all the talk of Oktoberfest and all the different beers you may see in the liquor, it’s best not to forget that Chicago has some pretty great breweries. And just in time for Oktoberfest, Baderbräu, brewer of Chicago’s Original Craft Beer, is launching its first newly designed beer in celebration of the popular German beer festival. The Baderbräu Oktoberfest is an amber-orange colored lager complete with a rich and malty flavor that harkens the deep flavors that are reminiscent of Bavaria. Baderbräu’s Oktoberfest are available now and for purchase at Chicago area Binny’s, as well as a variety of local restaurant and bars (venues can be found here). And for all those not familiar with the brewing company, you should click here to learn its very interesting backstory and see how it was almost gone forever.
