Where were you born ?
New London, CT
How long in Los angeles:
I’ve been in L.A for 10 years
I think I have lived in every part of LA except downtown. Everywhere from Topanga Canyon to Toluca Lake.
Favorite Restaurant:
I love Olio on 3rd Street. They have the best pizzas in town, and the most amazing Nutella pizza for dessert. There is absolutely no splitting this with anyone. Its too good!
Best Sushi:
Sugarfish. Nothing even compares.
Best Italian:
Madeo is great for classic Italian food and amazing people watching. I saw Fabio there one time when I was there with my Mom. It still ranks as one of the best moments of her life.
Best dessert:
I love anything from Vanilla Bake Shop in Santa Monica. They did all the desserts for my wedding. It was amazing. What’s better than a mini Key Lime Pie shot!
Best place for a romantic date:
Well…anywhere in Paris of course! If you can’t get there…Geoffrey’s in Malibu is pretty great. It overlooks the ocean.
Best Sunday brunch:
Public Kitchen at The Roosevelt Hotel
Best place for a power business meeting:
Saddle Ranch…you have your meeting and then you ride the mechanical bull. See what everyone’s really made of.
If you have out of town guests, which hotel would you recommend?
L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills.
Favorite shopping venue/boutique:
I love a great bargain. In LA most people wear things one time and trade them in. The best spot to grab some of this stuff is Crossroads Trading Company. There are a bunch of them around town
Best Spa:
Kinara on Robertson
Favorite Charity Event:
I’m actually helping out with a group called Camp Del Corazon. It’s an incredible organization that raises money for a cause near and dear to my heart.
Favorite Cultural Event:
St. Patrick’s Day
Best Steakhouse:
Not really a steakhouse, but I love the steak at Osteria Mozza.
Best Pizza:
Best Lunch:
Café Gratitude on Larchmont. Very healthy and a great space. I love meeting my girlfriends here.
Best Gym/Athletic Facility:
I love The Bunker. Adam Ernster owns this incredibly private gym in the middle of Beverly Hills.
Best Massage:
There’s a small spa I found called The Room Organic in Toluca Lake. By far one of the best I’ve ever had.
Best Limousine/Driving Service:
Uber is literally like magic. Hands down the best.
Best Museum/Exhibit:
Everything and anything at The Getty. It’s perfect
Favorite historic/legendary place to see or explore:
I love the Warner Brothers lot. There is so much history there. They’ve done such a smart thing. They have signs outside of each stage which tell you what movies and tv shows were shot inside. So cool…you can almost feel the ghosts of actors past.
All-around favorite locale in Los Angeles, whether a neighborhood, restaurant, venue, or other
The Malibu or Zuma Beach area. I rarely get out there, but when I do I’m just blown away by how beautiful it really is.
Best aspect of Los Angeles
Coming from Connecticut where it’s freezing half the time, I would have to say the weather. It’s pretty much perfect here every day. There truly is a little bit of everything you could want. Culture, good food, and beautiful scenery.
