More Than Ski Movies: The Meeting Returns to Aspen in September

meeting

In nine years, The Meeting has evolved into more than a showcase for the year’s new ski and snowboard films. Now, it’s a gathering of industry professionals who touch on everything from art, fashion, music, networking, and of course, snow sports. This year, filmmakers, brand representatives, ski resort officials and athletes will get together in Aspen, Sept. 27-29, to make it all happen again.

“The Meeting has developed into much more than the iconic kick-off to the snow season with the best snow films,” says Deric Gunshor, senior event marketing manager for Aspen Skiing Company. “Last year marked a huge step forward for the conference portion of the event delivering valuable insights, powerful dialogue and unparalleled networking opportunities.”

Over the three days, The Meeting will host a handful of new films, concerts, panel discussions and industry parties at locations throughout Aspen. Speakers include GoPro VP or Marketing Paul Crandell and Nick Sargent, the strategic alliance director for Burton Snowboards.

The weekend registration fee is $349. For more information, visit Aspen/Snowmass.
