Kobe Bryant Goes One on One With Jimmy Kimmel for ‘Kobe Up Close’

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Thursday evening was a sports spectacular in the name of one LA athletic icon: Kobe Bryant.

The LA Lakers champion sat down with Jimmy Kimmel at the Nokia Theatre LA. LIVE for an entertaining conversation about his past, present and future that was broadcast live on AXS TV.

The NBA star shared amusing anecdotes as well as reflections about his own career, including the admission that he might not be ready for the Lakers’ Oct. 29 season opener.

However, the 34-year-old did tell the late night host that his 17-year basketball career is “definitely not over.”

All proceeds from the event benefited the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation in partnership with Cedars-Sinai’s Sports Spectacular to support their work toward eliminating homelessness and providing preventative health services in underserved Los Angeles communities.

Also on hand to witness Kobe Up Close was wife Vanessa Bryant, as well as Jim Buss, Terrell Owens, Eric Koston, Jim Hill, Robert Horry, Dave Winfield and current Los Angeles Lakers players Robert Sacre, Ryan Kelly and Wes Johnson.
