BMW, Mercedes-Benz + Porsche to Make World Debuts at the LA Auto Show

Luxury car brands like BMW,  Mercedes-Benz and Porsche will make world debuts of their latest models at this year’s LA Auto Show.

More than 50 new cars will be on display during the show’s Press Days, to be held this year from November 20-21.

BMW alone has confirmed seven to eight debuts, including a yet-to-be-named global premiere, while Porsche has officially announced that it will introduce the Macan, its highly anticipated SUV crossover.

The show will also introduce the Connected Car Expo (CC), a three-day exposition designed to connect tech companies with automakers; the even twill begin on November 19.  NHTSA’s David Strickland, Google’s Ron Medford, MIT’s Bruce Mehler and the Auto Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers’ CEO Mitch Bainwol will take part.

Top-level executives from each brand will also be on hand at the event to introduce their latest automotive offerings.
