Bar Crudo opened last night on 1st Street on South Pointe. As the name suggests, a number of raw fish selections are available on small plates. Octopus with rosemary and sweet potato, scallop with grapefruit and sweet corn and snapper with jalepeno and onion. Charcuterie platters are available as are crostinis sold by the piece. Even soups are cold and raw with gazpacho or cucumber soup on offer. For the carne crowd there will be smoked black tea beef, and of course, carpaccio. Definitely a chic way to eat and keep cool in the middle of this hot, hot summer!
