Haute 100 LA Update: Dustin Brown Signs 8-Year Contract with the LA Kings

Dustin Brown is here to stay in LA for what seems like an indefinite amount of time.

The LA Kings captain has just signed an eight-year extension deal with the NHL team for a reported annual salary of $5.75 million.

The 28-year-old is entering the final year of his last NHL contract.

He joins teammates Anze Kopitar, Drew Doughty, Jeff Carter, Mike Richards, Slava Voynov, and Jonathan Quick, all of whom have signed long-term deals.

With Brown as captain, the Kings took home the 2012 Stanley Cup.
