Calvin Klein just released his eponymous women’s Fall 2013 underwear global campaign, with none other than Christy Turlington Burns. Shot in Puerto Rico by the reputable photographer Mario Sorrenti, the campaign underscores the luxury brand’s singular emphasis on intimacy and risk. The stills showcase a medley of classic and modern lingerie essentials in a media campaign with digital, print and outdoor advertising. Fashionistas will appreciate the campaign release’s serendipitous timing with September 2013 magazine issues worldwide. Appearing on billboards on Houston and Lafayette, Calvin Klein’s Manhattan campaign debut will be on August 19th.
Turlington Burns first teamed up with Klein 26 years ago on the runway; her first advertising campaign with the brand was just one year after.
