Celine Dion and Rene Angelil were among the celebrities on had for the opening of “Véronic Voices” at Bally’s Las Vegas on Friday night.

Vocal phenomenon Véronic was joined on the red carpet by her co-producers Celine Dion and Rene Angelil for her Las Vegas debut. Other celebrities who walked the red carpet included: Taylor Hicks, Ian Ziering, Anthony Cools, Chris Allen of “Defending the Caveman,” Mac King, Jubilee! showgirls, Carrot Top, Human Nature, hypnotist Marc Savard, Michael Godard, Mark Shunock of “Rock of Ages,” singer/songwriter Jon Secada, Claire Sinclair and more. After the show, guests made their way to Drai’s Afterhours to celebrate Vegas’ newest headliner.

Known for her unique ability to transform her voice into those of the world’s biggest superstars, Véronic effortlessly imitates the voices of Christina Aguilera, Sheryl Crow, Billie Holiday, Susan Boyle, Whitney Houston, Katy Perry, Dolly Parton and many, many more.

Joined by her six backup dancers, affectionately known as The Voicettes, Véronic takes audiences on a journey through the music of chart-topping female artists. Whether she’s in a one-woman battle over who the reigning queen of pop is, slowing things down with a jazzy repertoire, or taking audiences through collections of country and disco favorites, Véronic crosses more vocal ranges and genres in 80 minutes than most performers do in a lifetime.
