Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg continues his involvement in fundraising for New Jersey politicians.

Bloomberg reported that Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, will host a fundraiser for Newark Mayor Cory Booker, who formally entered the race in the upcoming special election to fill the Senate seat that was left vacant by the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) last week.

Zuckerberg hosted a fundraiser for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in February, at his home in Palo Alto.

Facebook Spokeswoman Sarah Feinberg confirmed the event in an email to Bloomberg, saying:

Mark and Priscilla are hosting a fundraiser for Mayor Booker in the coming days.

Christie appointed New Jersey Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa as the interim replacement for Lautenberg, and Bloomberg reported that the party primary vote is set for Aug. 13, and the final ballot for Oct. 16, with the winner serving out the remainder of Lautenberg’s term, through January 2015.

In addition to the two fundraisers, Zuckerberg also donated $100 million to the school system in Newark.
