2013 is going to be the summer of fun if Wolfgang Puck has his way.
The Austrian celebrity chef is offering up some fun treats come summer at his restaurant inside the swanky Hotel Bel-Air.
Hotel guests will enjoy complimentary amenities poolside including sweet treats such as flavored granite, Dip n Dots, ice cream sundaes served in bite-sized waffle cups, chocolate dipped banana coins, frozen grape skewers, push-pops, mini lemonade slushes and sunglass cleaning.
Also on offer is the Bel-Air Basket, a pre-packed gourmet meal for an idyllic, romantic picnic. Guests may select from dozens of a la carte items including Grilled Chicken “Santorini” Salad, Burrata & Prosciutto Di Parma Sandwich, Selection of Artisanal Cheeses and Assorted Charcuterie & Salumi, Big Eye Tuna “Nicoise” Salad, House Made Soft Bavarian Pretzels and Classic Cupcakes. The basket also includes a blanket, thermos and wine glasses.
And what would a summer be without cocktails? Chef Lee Hefter, Managing Partner and Executive Corporate Chef of Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, has created two new refreshing summer cocktails: “Pins & Needles” – made with Tanqueray “10” gin, rosemary, cucumber, and lemon juice – and “Aleeto’s Way”, a combination of Patron Añejo tequila, Aperol and lemon juice.
