The BR 01-97 Climb

Bell & Ross has added a new timepiece to its aeronautical instruments inspired line of timepieces – The BR 01-97 Climb. This impressive model is inspired by the Variometer, an instrument used in planes to let the pilot know if the plane is descending, ascending or level. The case of the BR 01-97 Climb is 46 mm steel coated with black carbon PVD and features an ETA 2897 automatic movement with power reserve. The black dial features hours, minutes, seconds, date window and a power reserve indicator. The numerals and hands feature white photo luminescent coating and a black phantom hour hand to really capture the look of the cockpit instrument. The Bell & Ross BR 01-97 Climb is shown on a rubber strap and is part of a limited collection of 999 pieces, 99 of which will be released as part of an exclusive collector’s box.

The Ingenieur Automatic AMG Black Series

IWC has recently introduced The Ingenieur Automatic AMG Black Series. The case is 46 mm black ceramic with a great combination of matte and polished finishes. Powered by a mechanical in-house 80110 calibre Pellaton automatic winding movement, a 44-hour power reserve and integrated shock absorption system, this model is a fantastic tribute to its namesake, the Mercedes AMG. The Ingenieur Automatic AMG Black Series features hours, minutes and seconds along with a date display window at the 3 o’clock position on the dial and a sapphire crystal and case back. Shown with a black dial and black rubber strap with stamped calfskin inlay, the Ingenieur Automatic AMG Black series is water resistant to 12 bar and priced at $12,300.
