Retail sensation Curve is celebrating fifteen years since opening its doors on Los Angeles’ Robertson Boulevard. Nevena Borissova opened the original Curve location in 1997 when she was in her early twenties.

According to Curve, Borissova’s obsession with discovering and promoting new talent led her to opening what is now on of the most popular stores on Robertson Boulevard. She has launched the careers of many designs and is fittingly known as “the buyer that is ahead of the curve.” Since she opened her first boutique, Borissova has made it her mission to “sell style, not just trends, coupled with excellent client service and exclusive fashion services.”

“I was only 23 years old when it started, and I had no idea what I was doing,” Borissova recounted for Style.com. “Robertson wasn’t cool at all … we were the first, and we’re kind of the last, because now I call all the stores pop-ups – opening and closing with a year.”

To mark the fifteen year anniversary, Curve has reportedly teamed up with six designers to create a limited-edition capsule collection, which will include “everything from a sapphire-studded Pamela Love cage ring to silver Jenni Kayne D’Orsay flats,” a Victor & Rolf jumpsuit priced at $4,000, and much more.

Borissova has previously worked with high-profile names like Usher, Missoni, Warner Bros, the British Fashion Council, among others. She is also a founding member of the Vogue 100. She has a loyal clientele with locations in Miami, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and an upcoming New York Bond Street location opening this summer.
