Ahhh, the days of spring are here. Cocktails, fashion and Cedric Charlier at Barneys…does springtime get any better than this?

Barneys New York, along with Sabrina Buell, Cameron Phleger and Alka Agrawal, hosted the Belgian-born, Paris-based womenswear designer to celebrate his spring/summer 2013 collection.

Charlier, whose impressive dossier includes stints at Celine (under Michael Kors), Jean Paul Knott, Lanvin (where he spent six years as Alber Elbaz’s assistant) and most recently, at Cacharel, where he served as the creative director starting in 2009, made his debut with his eponymous fall 2012 collection.

Since then, Charlier has become a staple at Barneys. His spring/summer 2013 collection captures the essence of easy wearability, boasting clean lines and bold pops of color throughout the collection.

Guests had the opportunity to meet Charlier while perusing the impressive collection. Ten percent of all proceeds from the event were donated to the Exploratorium.
