Friends and business partners Tracey Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow have teamed up once again to create a new legging line. High-profile celebrity trainer Anderson and actress Paltrow designed the line to suit Anderson’s fashionable fitness clients.
LA Racked and The Los Angeles Times report that Anderson and Paltrow have teamed up for the new line, which comes off the heels of Anderson’s successful collaboration with Edition 01. Currently sold on Anderson’s e-shop, the new collection includes three low-rise styles of leggings; sparkly black, colorful polka dotted, and red plaid. The leggings are priced at $60 and are a blend of 85 percent nylon and 15 percent Lycra spandex.
Anderson told Women’s Wear Daily, “They’re supportive, but not too supportive to where you can’t move and feel you can exercise properly. When you’re exercising you’re supposed to be able to not feel constricted.” WWD is also reporting that t-shirts and sports bras may be coming to the collection as well.
The powerful duo will reportedly also be opening a “fitness-focused women’s boutique next to [Anderson’s] Brentwood studio.” LA Racked says it will be targeting the “working mom who has an exercise lifestyle.”
Anderson’s long list of celebrity clients includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardasian and Madonna. Her fitness empire includes DVDs and studio space, along with a rapidly growing fitness apparel collection.
