London: Join the Mile High Club

Beirut Ingredients

London’s most talked about pop-up dinner club is landing in St James’s from May 1-4 and this time the featured destination is Beirut. The secret location, which hasn’t been announced yet, will have a 1950s theme reminiscent of a Lebanese café and will harken back to a time when Beirut was considered the “Paris of the Middle East”.

Ex-Moro chef Oliver Templeton will once again take diners on a culinary journey with an assortment of authentic dishes. The four-course Levantine feast will feature an interesting combination of Arab, Ottoman and French art nouveau influences — think Smoked Labneh with Sour Cherries, Broad Beans, Asparagus and Crisp Bread and then for dessert, Rose Water and Pomegranate Jelly with Cardamom Custard and fresh Pomegranate Seeds.

And don’t worry if you can’t get reservations during its first landing, a return trip is scheduled from May 8-11, but then it will be gone forever.
