The mayhem of opening weekend continued at Hakkasan the MGM Grand when Dutch house DJs/producers Bingo Players took over the turntables. The massive electronic music duo, made up of Paul Baümer and Maarten Hoogstraten, debuted the first of many exclusive performances to thousands of partygoers at the recently opened Vegas nightclub.
Right before they took over the deejay booth at 1:30 a.m., CEO of Angel Management Group Neil Moffitt presented them with a commemorative-framed gold disc to celebrate the first-ever performance of their exclusive event series at Hakkasan.
Then Bingo Players anxiously took to the stage soon after congratulating Danny Avila for an amazing set. Immediately after stepping foot in the booth, the energy in the packed main room erupted as fans roared with the first track was spun. The Dutch deejays kept the energy at an all-time high until 5 a.m. when they played their celebrated music including fan favorites “Get Up (Rattle),” “Cry (Just A Little),” “Out Of My Mind,” “L’Amour,” “Mode” and many more. Throughout the dynamically entertaining set, guests stayed on their feet dancing with their hands in the air all night long.
Earlier in the night, dance music phenomenon Danny Avila kicked off the night with an explosive opening set. The 18-year-old sensation spun his hard-hitting beats to a packed room and immediately following his set Avila was escorted out of the venue.
Also spotted in the DJ booth were Hardwell and Bambi, who returned to the venue as guests after headlining on Friday night.
Meanwhile Questlove, drummer and joint frontman for the Grammy Award-winning band The Roots manned the decks in the Ling Ling Club and spun an eclectic set to the packed room.
