Ladies, grab your girlfriends. It’s time to plan for a weekend getaway to Napa. From Thursday, March 7 to Saturday, March 10, The Westin Verasa Napa is partnering with Women of the Vine to host a series of events in celebration of International Women’s Day (officially recognized on March 8).
On Thursday, March 7, La Toque restaurant will host a Guest Chef Dinner featuring Jennifer Puccio of Marlowe, Park Tavern and the forthcoming project the Cavalier in San Francisco, for a collaborative dinner with Chef Ken Frank. The dinner will feature four savory courses plus dessert, all paired with fabulous wines from female vintners, in celebration of International Women’s Month and International Women’s Day.Women of the Vine’s exclusive Grand Tasting Event held onsite on Friday, March 8. This Grand Tasting event will feature wines poured by top female winemakers from the likes of Julianne Laks from Cakebread and Stacy Clark from Charles Krug among others.
Stay for Friday morning, March 8, when the property will host a free yoga session sponsored by lululemon. There will also be numerous opportunities to explore and experience the offerings of local female winemakers. On Thursday, March 7, and on Saturday, March 9, the property will offer complimentary wine tastings during Westin Unwind, held in the lobby from 5 to 7 p.m.
To enjoy the festivities of Somm Sister Soiree, The Westin Verasa Napa has created the Grand Tasting Package and the Wine & Dine Package. The Grand Tasting Package includes an overnight stay at the property, a ticket to the Women of the Vine Grand Tasting event, and a copy of Women of the Vine, Inside the World of Women who Make, Taste and Enjoy Wine.For those looking for a longer getaway, there is the Wine & Dine Package.
